GUESS WHERE I SPENT THE NIGHT?

That's right, in the hospital. I gave Mom quite a scare the other night by having some kind of seizure like activity.
So off to the hospital we went where we spent 28 and a half hours! I was poked prodded, bled, CAT scaned, EEG'd and x-rayed. Ah, good times!

So what's up? Looks like I have a reflux problem and have to take Zantac twice a day for as long as the doctor says I guess. I'm home now, comfy on the couch with Mom.

This ER isn't so bad.

That's Kim she's real nice. But apparently she didn't get the memo that said: DON'T POKE ME!!!

Mom & Dad had take out pizza for supper.

Could this day be any longer?

CHECK OUT MY NEW CLOTHES

Mom & Dad took me to Toys R Us & the bookstore today. I'm wearing a new outfit from Miss Vickie, cute huh?

I got a new rattle, formula and bumpers to help hold my head up in the car seat. Hey, I'm basically holding a bowling ball on a bendy straw ya know.

4 WEEKS OLD!

Can you believe it? I'm already four weeks old. Pretty soon I'll be asking for the car keys!
Mom bought an ice cream cake to celebrate. Which I find curious since I can't actually eat the ice cream. Hmm...

THIS IS MY NANA

WAAAYYYY back when I was a week old my Nana came to stay at our house.
We had a great time. She held me and fed me and just couldn't get enough of me. She also cooked some wonderful meals for my Mom & Dad and big brother Ryan.
Sure hope I get to see her again soon.

08-31-08

OLD FORGE, NY -- Sunday in ADK. So many things going on the camera couldn't capture everything. Here are some highlights...

This is (one of) the deer Jack was looking out for. I slept through this but Dad and Jack got a picture.

For dinner we went out to 'The Ole Barn' up in Inlet. It was, um, unique. Good service and good food though. Barb just can't get enough of me, hooray!

Big brother Ryan and Barb (again) enjoying the spread.

Whew, no room for dessert. I'm so happy just getting away from the creepy waitress that wants to keep me. Whoops, where are my socks?

Back at home, getting changed and ready for tummy time!

OK, tummy time is on! Look at all those cool animals and colors!

Excuse me Jack, those are my toys.

How to make me cry, part one: Introduce giant butterfly.

How to make me cry, part two: Give me some doggy kisses.

How to make me cry, part three: That's it, we have a winner!

Look, this is my first campfire! I'm loving camp life.

Life is good in the Adirondacks! The next morning we had a yummy breakfast of eggs and blueberry muffins and we were on the road to New Hampshire. Thanks for all the fun Kirkners!

08-30-08

OLD FORGE, NY -- We're in the mountains, enjoying the clean, fresh air. Our friends the Kirkners own a nice vacation home here. A great couple of days filled with craft fairs, art shows, shopping, kayaking, caving, grilling and s'mores!

Jack on high alert for any deer (or dogs) that may be around.

Look, it's a baby bear! Just kidding, it's really me!

And here's the Mama bear...

This is my "Aunt" Barb. Right after this photo she yells at Daddy for taking her picture. Aunt Barb, if you're holding me, Daddy's gonna take the picture, sorry.

She's so good at holding me I get all droolie.

Here's Miss Kimberlee, she's warming up to me, and is another baby sitting candidate. Her Dad says she certified too!

08-29-08

VOORHEESVILLE, NY -- Grammy and Grampy Pinney squeeze in some last minute Maddy time before we're off to Old Forge, NY.

Thanks Jack, but I got this whole bottle thing figured out.

Apparently Grandma hasn't lost her touch, hmm...

See Grandpa, I won't break!

So what's with the pencil anyway? Don't poke my eye out!

08-28-08

VOORHEESVILLE, NY -- Wow, what a big, busy weekend I had! Thursday we went to Voorheesville to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Pinney. That night I had lots of company come visit...

Next door neighbor Ann Putnam stopped over for cake and coffee, she's really nice. I bet she has some funny stories to tell about my Dad.

Dad's best friend Chuck Donnelly and his family were there too. Lori and the kids just loved me! It was all very exciting.

Sean was funny, not sure how to hold me, but with some help from his Mom he did great!

Chelsea was a natural. I think she would be a good baby sitter (hint, hint).

Lexi too, I'll put her on the short list of sitters, so gentle.

There's my "Uncle" Chuck. He's just a little crazy. But hey, he's good with kids, so crazy's OK. Stop hiding the binky!

This is all so good for my ego. After two hours I was still drawing a crowd. What a party, thanks everyone!
